Americana - Round Robin Challenge

Bike Parade
Block Party USA

Several years in a row, our neighborhood blocks off the street and does the 4th of July proud. Parades, music, games, prizes, BBQ, firewords, and lots of smiles.

Thanks to Bob (on the bike) for holding us to our traditions.

Here's to the Red, White and Blue.

Hi Brad

Welcome to the Round Robin Challenges. I think that is a very cool tradition you have. It's a good thing to be neighbors to your neighbors, but friends to your neighbors as well. :) This was a very uplifting entry. :)

Always, Carly

I love the picture - and the tradition! There are so few neighborhoods any more where people actually know each other or even talk to each other. I'm glad yours is an exception!

Great pic, Brad and welcome to the round robins! I remember those little bike parades quite well from the days when I lived back in PA. and my kids were little. No bike parades down here in Florida, though. Too hot and too many old folks ...

Oh gosh, this brought flashbacks of when my own children were younger! My son rode his bike in the parade with his dad .. they were both SO proud! Thanks ~ great entry and a hearty WELCOME to Round Robins! ~ Valorie
